Igniate

Igniate — app studio

Designing solutions for the things you keep meaning to do.

We build small, focused apps that turn a vague intention into something you can start right now. Plan the hours in front of you. Call the people you miss. Arrange a trip that bends around what you booked.

Carpe

Plan the time you actually have.

iOS

Tell Carpe you’ve got four hours. Drop in activities from your presets and it lays them out end to end, with real start and end times and an honest answer to when you’ll be done.

Start the plan and it runs one activity at a time. Pause, add five minutes, or skip ahead — everything after it shifts to match, so the plan stays true instead of quietly falling apart.

  • PresetsSave the things you do often, then build a block in a few taps.
  • One at a timeA single timer, the activity you’re on, and what’s next.
  • Add timeFive more minutes shows you the new finish time before you commit.

Perigee home screen: two upcoming birthdays, then five people to reach out to, with Dana Whitfield's contact rhythm, her seven-week gap against a three-week goal, and Snooze, Log and Contact buttons.
Uncle Ray's page in Perigee: a Family tag, message, call and log actions, a six-week gap against a one-month goal, and two logged interactions with notes.

Perigee

Keep in touch on purpose.

iOS

Give each person a rhythm — every three weeks, every couple of months — and Perigee works out who has come due. The home screen is a short list of people to contact today and whose birthday is next. No feed, no streaks, no guilt counter.

Logging takes one tap: what it was, when, and a line about what you talked about. If other people were there, one entry counts for all of them, so a group dinner doesn’t need logging five times.

  • A rhythm eachWeekly for some, twice a year for others. Groups get one too.
  • Goal against realityEvery person shows the gap you intended next to the gap you actually keep.
  • Not everyone needs a scheduleSome people are filed under a city instead, and surface when you’re there.
  • Snooze without losing themPush someone back a week rather than dismissing the reminder and forgetting.

Perigee — the point in an orbit where something comes closest. Everything in your life is already circling. The app just tells you when someone’s near.

Foldout

A trip plan that bends.

iOS

Most planners make you pick a side: a spreadsheet that holds anything but shows nothing, or a schedule that demands an exact time for a temple you only half want to see. A day in Foldout holds both at once.

Reservations lock to the clock. Everything else carries an estimate you can stretch. Things you haven’t committed to sit beside the day as unplaced — still visible — until there’s room for them. Move the one dinner you can’t change and the afternoon reflows around it.

  • Two kinds of certaintyBooked things hold their time. Estimated things flex.
  • Free time you can seeGaps are drawn as gaps, with how many saved ideas would fit.
  • Nothing gets buriedUnplaced plans stay beside the day, not in a list you forget.
  • Zoom out to the whole tripOne afternoon, one day, or every day at once.

Igniate ignite + initiate

Most of what we mean to do never gets a start time. Igniate makes small tools that take one of those intentions and give it a shape you can act on: an hour with a plan in it, a name to call today, a trip that fits the day you actually have.

Everything we ship is narrow on purpose. One job, done properly, on the device where you’d reach for it.
